It's sketch time over at
Operation Write Home, a wonderful non-profit whose members make greeting cards for our heroes to stay in touch with their loved ones at home. This week's sketch was part of
a Virtual Card Making Party. My DH and I took in a couple Colorado Rockies baseball games over in Denver, so my card making was limited to this week's sketch, so far. I love this sketch, another great one to use a few coordinated scraps and a little bling. Best wishes for a great week, I hope to catch up on a few of those great VCMP challenges too.

I love the Embossing Folder you used on this. This is a great masculine card. So often you see brown cards for masculine -- congrats for using bright colors!
ReplyDeleteThis is a happy card! Very nice use of texture, color, and elements. This is gonna make one little boy very happy.
ReplyDeleteCheryl... thank you for your comment on my blog. I wanted to let you know that the sentiment isn't a stamp, but rather a sticker from Authentique. I think it matches the Authentique Pride paper. thanks again ~ Pam
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous masculine card! I have 3 little boys and this is a card that I could give to any one of them! Thanks for the inspiration.

I just commented on your sketch #178 cards, then I discovered I really liked this card of yours, too, and have already commented on it. I'm back! You are a master at layering. Sandy makes it look easy, but even with the sketches to follow I am clumsy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice comments. I'm a bit OCD, so when layering I use a see through quilt rule to get the layers just right. Those new rulers from this weeks OWH blog hop look like they'd be cool for layering too! Keep trying! Have fun!
