OWH Mid-Month Throwdown Challenge

Hello everyone, although I'm not totally caught up with the latest Operation Write Home challenges, I'm venturing into today's Mid-Month Throwdown Challenge, which is to make a Miss You card.   And… I'm using OWH Sketch 242, one more sketch down!.

After spending what seem like eternity making pastel love cards, I returned to my love of bright colors.  I like how my card turned out, although a bit busy with the stripes and all those polka dot colored strips.  Cheery at the least!  Well, onto another catch up, take care.

Operation Write Home Sketch #241

Just a quick hello and a quick post catch up!  Here's to one more finished card!  I just love this sketch, simple, but easy to dress up with some embossing and a sweet sentiment.  Well, off to catch up another, take care!

DP: MME "Love Me"  6x6 pad
Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug "Hugs and Kisses",  I embossed the top and bottom in two separate passes, so that the center was absent of embossing, made it nicer to adhere the printed papers flat to the card.

OWH December ODBD Challenge

Merry Christmas everyone!  Wow, time is flying at the speed of sound.  I've been making a few cards, but sure can't keep up with all the great challenges.  I love color challenges, so it was easy to jump into this month's OWH Our Daily Bread Design Challenge, which is to use Primary Colors.  Oh… I love bright colors.  I took inspiration from a past Featured Friday Card Maker, Kathy M.  I love her featured card, so easy to combine my cheery papers to her sketch.  Well. off to a few more unfinished holiday presents, best wishes for a wonderful holiday.
