Miss You - OWH Sketch #196

Happy Sunday everyone, hope it's a good one so far.  Another fun day watching football and making cards.  This week's sketch over at Operation Write Home showcases some pretty papers as well as a sentiment, my favorites!

I realized after finishing the card, that I didn't quite follow the sketch right.  I meant the sentiment to be off to the left, but  forgot it went further down.  Oh well, next try!  Happy scrapping everyone!

  1. Those are definitely some pretty papers and I really like the embossed background. The twine and brads really work well with the sketch. Great job!

  2. I shouldn't follow Kristie because she's already said just what I'd planned to say. So, "ditto" her, and the sketches are only for inspiration. I seldom get one exactly like the samples, and sometimes I veer WAY off in my own direction. :)

  3. I think your sentiment looks perfect just where it is. The sketch is a starting point anyway. Great papers and the brads int he corner are an ideal finishing touch.

  5. I recognize that sentiment digi from Paula! I like that you went with the circle vs. the square for the sentiment to give us a different view of this sketch. I like the colors, textures, and the layers that you used. Very nice!
