Operation Write Home Sketch #182

Good Afternoon Everyone,
The DH was away with the guys, mountain biking, which left me to craft all by myself!  Heaven!  This week's sketch over at Operation Write is perfect for those leftover scraps that we all hang onto.  I have a collection of Halloween scraps, which I knew would be just the ticket.  I matted the die cut with black and then fussy cut the mat, definitely not a task I want to do for mass producing!

It's been close to 100 degrees here for over a month, even my chickens have said ENOUGH already!  Here's to slightly cooler days ahead.  Have a great week.

DP:  Recollections and Paper Studio scraps
Die Cut:  Recollections
Embossing Folder:  Lifestyle Crafts "Lattice"

  1. Halloween! Love the colors and the embossing!

  2. Love the way sentiment is cut out. Your card came out so cute!

  3. You are right...this IS a great sketch to use up our scraps. I love how you used the twine and the cut sentiment to break up the linear look of the card. Really fun!

  4. Super nice! Love the pop of colors against the embossing folder. Tfs!

  5. Very nice, non-scary, Halloween card!

  6. Super cute Hall-no-ween card Cheryl! That EF is adorable and makes the Halloween colors and papers really pop. Thanks for playing!
