OWH Sketch #162

The snow has finally melted and I finally was able to get my outside Christmas lights down today.  I was afraid it wouldn't be until summer at the rate we were going!  This week's sketch over at Operation Write Home hinted at being perfect for Mother's Day cards.  I agree.  Hope you enjoy my take on the sketch, wishing all a great week ahead!

    I love how you grounded the two background pieces with a border, it's eye-catching! You definitely made this sketch perfect for a Mom's card... kudos!

    The digit stamp is perfect for that square! The pattern papers work nicely together and makes such a spring card. Nice job!

    Such a bright, cheery Mother's Day card. It also brings spring with it, which we desperately need. I love the flower used as your "o". Great thinking.

    Terrific card! I really like the variation you made by moving one of the background panels and the papers go perfectly with Paula's digi.

    Great take on the sketch, and done with such pretty papers too! Those extra large fonts look amazing with the flower replacing the letter "O!"
