Thankful: Operation Write Home Sketch #232

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a memorable 4th of July.  It's Monday, never too late to participate in this week's sketch over at Operation Write Home.  The dh and I went camping in the high country of Western Colorado.  We capped our weekend with a 7 mile hike to 11,000 feet elevation absolutely gorgeous mountain lake!  As I sat by the lake, I pondered on how truly grateful we are to live in such a beautiful country, protected by those who serve.  A big thank you to our heroes.

Today's posting on OWH reminded us of the card theme deadlines, which if you're like me, seem to loom so quickly.  So… being in the thankful mindset, I decided to make a Thankful card.  I also think it passes for OWH Virtual Card Making Party Texture Challenge.  Hope you enjoy.

  2. Wow, you had a beautiful place to contemplate how much we have to be thankful for in this country. And your card absolutely works for the texture challenge. Let's see, brads, twine, layers, textured paper, and ribbon - I count 5! Great job, thanks for taking the texture challenge at BobbisTreasure.blogspot.com!
