Country Boy: OWH Sketch #230

Happy Sunday everyone.  Just a quick post, as I spent the morning tending to the chickens and veggie garden, I still have laundry to do! Truth be told, I totally goofed off Saturday at Country Jam, an all day country music festival here in Western Colorado!  Today's sketch over at Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps features a great card from Diane.  Since I'm a country girl at heart, I decided to make a card in honor of all of our country heroes!  Well … back to the laundry!

I've been needing to make some love cards to balance out my next box to OWH, I seem to always not have enough love cards.  So, I decided to make a second card.  (Avoiding the laundry!)  I love MME Love themed pads, they all go so well together.

Country DP:  "Country Girl" by Paper House (JoAnns) .  The horizontal "stamp" actually is printed already on the wheat looking paper.

Love DP:  MME  "Love Me" and "Lost & Found-Heirloom"
Brads:  Recollections
Die:  Lacey Circles by Spellbinders

  1. OH wow, I just LOVE these cards, especially the country one! How clever to use a printed sentiment from the paper, and what a fantastic look! Great job on the love birds too! Well done on the sketch challenge!

  2. I adore both of these cards. I noticed you used the paper as your sentiment on your second card. I wish my mind was as crafty as yours. I'll have to pay more attention to these little things. Enjoy your day
