Happy Sunday everyone! This week's sketch
over at Operation Write Home comes by way of a great card from
Jeanette at Lagniappe, a great use of strips, stripes or even just scraps! I'm trying to make a few more
cowboy or country themed cards for a special hero request. Nothing says country to me more, other than my chickens, than a county fair. I chose to go sentiment-less, although the "tickets" have a few good phrases already built in. Hope your's is a good one, see around the corner!

Love the woodgrain paper for this sketch and I love the tickets for the crosspiece too. (I was just looking at another one of my paper pads and there were tickets on there and I was wondering, now what would I ever use THAT for - and now I know!) Great card - the wrapped star and twine are terrific finishing touches.

ReplyDeleteVery nice card! Love the woodgrain paper colors. It almost looks like you handstamped the colors onto the woodgrain. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card! Love the woodgrain papers, the notebook edge, and the twine wrapped star. Definitely does not need a sentiment! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI just love this one with those painted panels! The colors are awesome and I love the masculine feel with the tickets and star! NJ!
