World's Greatest Dad: OWH Sketch #211

Happy Sunday everyone!  Has everyone thawed out from the latest storm?  We got 4-5 more inches of snow, which luckily has started to melt, so much that we have little ponds all over our frozen yard!  I even heard a mourning dove this morning, ahhh, just a hint of spring to come.

Well anyway, back to this week's sketch over at Operation Write Home's weekly sketch challenge.  A fun, simple one courtesy of Carolynn at Hand and Hand.  Really great for some of those fabulous die cuts and digis.  Take care, hope you all stay warm out east, another cold front is coming!

DP:  Colorbok
Twine:  Recollections
Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug
Digi:  Handmade by Paula, colored with Copics

  1. Everything matches beautifully! I'm going to have to check out Paula's dig's because that one is really cool.

I am thinking a trade of some sort is in order, your melting snow for our dry, moisture-less stuff. Please? We really could use it (I am in Southern California) and you would get an early Spring. It would be a win-win.

If only we could…..have a great day. :)

  2. Like how you used the circle EF to coordinate with the circles in your paper and how your twine matches very nicely. Very color coordinated card. We had more snow last night in the Phila area and people are still without power from the previous storm. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Wow! Love this card and the color combination. We ended up with 4 inches of snow on Sunday which was okay with me...good crafting time! The rain is on its way...

  4. Well Cheryl, I love it all! The circle EF mimicking the paper is great, and love the two colors of twine to match your colors. Paula's digi is great and so is your coloring. Thanks for playing!
