OWH Card Bowl 2014: Denver Bronco Style

Happy Super Bowl weekend everyone!  Ohhh…. I'm so psyched here in Bronco land!  Just one short day from the biggest pro game of the year, are you wearing your orange and blue?  This weekend over at Operation Write Home is a fun 3-day challenge making cards surrounding the Super Bowl, creatively called Card Bowl 2014.  The first of three challenges to make a masculine card using the colors of your favorite Super Bow team, adding a fun little element specific to the team.

Well, as a native Coloradan, of course I'm rooting for the Denver Broncos.  Orange Crush and Bronco Blue abound!  One of my favorite players is free safety Champ Bailey.  Champ has never been to a Super Bowl and some may say, nearing the end of his career.  My fingers are crossed for a win for him!  I make my Miss You card in honor of Champ and a hero missing his little boy!  Well, here's to a great game, may the best team (Denver) win!!!

  3. I love that your card screams you are a Broncos fan- but that it can be used by even someone who knows nothing about football! Beautiful combination of papers. embossing, design and embellishments!! Your sentiment was very clever! I wish your team luck- I remember the excitement and antipication when my team went to Superbowls- I do think your team is the better team....they have to be- they completely spanked my Patriots! LOL Enjoy the game!!!!!
