Happy Mother's Day: Sketch 208

Happy Bronco Sunday everyone!  Wow, my condolences to Patriot fans, but…. Super Bowl here we come!  As I do every Sunday, I have paper in hand, making the weekly sketch from Stars and Stamps over at Operation Write Home during the Denver Broncos game.  It's my "lucky" activity.  Here's my hand at the sketch.  Somehow I didn't see circles, but rather curvey lace and flowers, something different from my usual routine.  Well, have a great week, see you next week!

DP and Flowers:  Recollections
Lace:  Hobby Lobby (left over from wedding STDs)
Sentiment:  Handmade by Paula

  1. Love how you used the lace as your interpretation of the circle border in this. Better make sure you have some crafting planned for the SuperBowl, just in case your theory is right... You don't want to take any chances! :)

  3. Glad that the Broncos won too. I wanted San Fran to win, but that didn't happen. Oh well. Great Mother's Day card! The colors and edges are really pretty.

  5. When I first looked at the sketch, I had a border punch in mind. It wasn't until I printed it out and took a better look at it that I saw the circles. I should have gone with the punch, those circles gave me trouble! Great card, love the colors and the twine addition!

  6. Gosh, this card is just lovely! I am looking at all the nice little details thinking it just looks so refreshing (a little lace, some flowers, pretty sentiment with color, gorgeous paper…..)

Thank you for the inspiration. :)
