OWH Sketch Challenge #176

Wow, is it ever hot!  It just seemed like the other day we were wishing the cold would go away.  Spring skipped us and we went straight to blazing!  The weatherman says it's going to be 104  tomorrow, yikes!

This week's sketch over at Operation Write Home was so fun, I think I set a new record for me, less than an hour!  Albeit, I did have a few interruptions.  I just love all the cool 6x6 pads everyone is using, the smaller scaled prints are just fabulous.  I did tweak the sentiment shape, hated to cover up the neat ruler print.  Well, keep cool and enjoy, it'll be freezing before we know it!

DP:   Authentique 6x6 "Curiosity"
Twine:  Ribbon section at Hobby Lobby
Brads:  Recollection
Sentiment:  computer Print Shop 2

  1. What a nice card! Love the ruler , and all the other paper choices!

  2. Your paper is so interesting! I have a piece of ruler ribbon that I had no idea how to pair with a sentiment and now you've given me an idea to use! Glad to hear your card went together so quickly for you.

  3. I really like your take on the sketch and those papers are great! I'm not complaining about the heat yet. Talk to me mid-July and I'll be begging for Fall weather!

  4. Great paper mix! Great colors!!!

  5. OK- so not only did you rock the sketch-- I now have to pull out this paperpad-- you combined the papers perfectly! Love your use of the twine-- fantastic!

  6. Great take on the sketch with this card! I just love those papers and the twine!
BTW, it took me a while to find your blog! When I click on your name when you leave a comment, it only takes me to the google page and says "Cheryl hasn't shared anything with you yet." If you've left comments in the past and I didn't respond, it's because I couldn't find your blog! It says you must must have me in your circles (and vice versa), and I never signed up for that google program :)

  7. AHA! Now that your blog addy shows in your comments, I can come back & visit your blog! Thanks so much for making that little change!!

    1. Thank you for the tip, I love giving comments too and seeing everyone's fun work!

  8. I love your paper choices and the twine is very nice too! The card gets an "A+" in my book too!! LOL
