Happy Sunday everyone. I hope everyone is cozy this wintery day. Here in Western Colorado we have signs of spring, then last night it snowed a couple inches of snowed! Oh well, a legit excuse to make cards! I'm in the need of more Hero cards, and I think today's is just the ticket. Possibly a bit busy, but it works for me. Have a great day!
P.S. Thanks to all who commented, somehow my original post earlier was lost. Yikes!
Terrific card! That digi sentiment is so great to work with and it looks fabulous with this week's sketch. Love all the stars.
ReplyDeleteLove how the patterns and colors all came together very nicely. A great Any Hero card!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's busy. Stars and stripes always go together in my book!
ReplyDeleteNope, not too busy. I think this came together perfectly. I really like the brads in the center of the stars. Great job with this week's sketch.
ReplyDeleteThe stripes balance out those stars. The sentiment works great in an oval! Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the visual pop. Tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. I agree with others...it's definitely not too busy.
ReplyDeleteGreat card a hero will be thrilled to receive!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely luv the simplicity of this card! I think the stars mirrored in the embellishments are fabulous! Great work!
ReplyDeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you re-posted because I tried to leave a comment for the first posting.
I really, really like this paper combo -- and think it works because the stripes are so strong. And, the stars framing the focal point oval are so cute!
I've use this sentiment before, but had forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder.
Terrific card Cheryl. I don't think it's busy at all. The large sentiment and red matting, plus the accent stars, draw the eye right to this focal point. The striped paper really does balance out the star paper. Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteI love your patriotic card, and especially the sentiment! I know what you mean about that snow. It doesn't want to go away:)
