Boot Camp: Basic Color Theory

Happy MLK day.  I took the day off, a rare Monday to indulge in my hobbies.  The only thing better would be warm weather and planting my garden.  Second  best, making cards!  Today's challenge offering from OWH is color theory by Paula.  I tend to go with very bright colors, so I challenged myself to use a muted analogous color scheme.  Hope it's a good day for all, card making or not!

  3. The butterfly paper is beautiful and does a very nice job of tying the pieces together of what I would call an 'extended' analogous scheme...ranging from the teal all the way over to the orange. I love the 'text' that is part of the butterfly print too!

  4. Great sentiment -- and the butterfly paper ties in the all three of your main colors. Thanks for the idea with the butterfly paper.
