OWH Midweek Throwdown: Celebrate Friendship

Hi everyone.  This week, Operation Write Home challenges us to make friendship themed cards.  I bought some wild, brightly colored card stock a few months back, and was stumped at how to use it.  The idea of solid colored strips in varying widths came to mind, thus, the thick and thin! I recently developed a embossing "fetish", so I just had to add depth to the strips as well.  Hope you enjoy!

    I love how bright and happy your card is! That patterened paper is perfect and I love how you grounded the brightness with black. Really fun card!!
