Our Daily Bread Challenge: A Big Texas Thanks

Happy first Saturday of the month everyone.  That means it's time for Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge over at Operation Write Home.  ODBD sponsors a monthly challenge, where for every 25 cards posted, they sponsor shipping for one box of cards to our heroes.  They even sponsor 2 boxes if we get 50 cards posted!  This month's challenge is to make thank you cards.  I did double duty, combing ODBD with Sandy's request to cowboy or western related cards for special unit request.   My son is stationed in San Antonio, so I immediately thought of a big sheriff 's star.  Not quite a Texas Ranger star, but you get the idea.  Well, time to mosey along.  Ya'll take care now, ya hear !

DP:  Wood Grained - Recollections
Bandana and Jean - Paper Studio
Star:  Spellbinders with little paper punch circles added.  The star paper is an iridescent gold card stock, really shiny in person. (Recollections)
Twine:  We R Memory

  3. I love how you made that star look like a badge. I never would've thought of that. The twine is the perfect finishing touch.
